How to rederect Open-MESH nodes to our MESH Network Management Dashboard

Our Hotspots generally cover about 1 city block, so you might not need to be directly in a site to connect. Your existing laptop or handheld may already have Wi-Fi wireless capability built-in. If not, you can purchase a Wi-Fi (802.11b) wireless networking card at any major electronics retailer.

Once you have WiFi capability, here's how to get online at one of our Hotspots.

1. Launch an Internet browser and enter any web site address. Superstring Interlink will automatically direct you to a login screen.

1. If you now see the Superstring Interlink login screen, skip this step. If you do not see the login screen, set your Wi-Fi card's SSID to " superstring_interlink " (no quotation marks). If you are not sure how to do this, consult the user manual provided by the Wi-Fi card's manufacturer.

1. On the Superstring Interlink login screen you have the option to log-in as a Credit Card Customer, Pre-paid coupon customer, or a long term customer. Use the selection button to choose your log-in type

1. As a Credit Card Customer or Pre-paid coupon customer, you have the option to use a pre-existing account to log-in, if you don't have access time remaining you have 2 options to buy time:

To buy time online with a Paypal.com account or a Major Credit Card:

•  Select “Credit Card Customer” and click the “Buy a Plan” button.

•  Select a 15 minute, 60 minute or 24 hour access pack

•  Follow though with the secure on-line credit card transaction

To buy Pre-paid coupons in denominations of 15 minutes & 60 minutes, see the local proprietor or contact sales@wifirush.com

•  Once you have your Pre-paid card, simply enter your one-time use username and password.

Walla! You are now on-line and ready to surf. If you allow pop-ups for this site, a session monitor will open and keep you informed about how long you have been on-line and how much you have Uploaded/Downloaded. You may use this session monitor to log-out, or you may choose to allow the session to expire after 3 minutes of inactivity
